SECTORIAL PERMITS

To facilitate the issuance of sectoral permits in Benue State, Nigeria, for various sectors such as tourism, energy, agriculture, and information and communication technology (ICT), here are the steps and requirements for each type of permit.

TOURISM SECTOR

Hotel License

  • Contact the Benue State Ministry of Culture and Tourism or the relevant local authority.
  • Apply for a hotel license, including details about your hotel's location, facilities, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Pay the required application and license fees.
  • Once your application is approved, the authorities will issue the hotel license.

Restaurant License

  • Contact the Benue State Ministry of Health or the local health department.
  • Apply for a restaurant license, including details about your restaurant's location, menu, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Pay the necessary application and license fees.
  • After inspection and approval, the authorities will issue the restaurant license.

Homestay License

  • Contact the Benue State Ministry of Culture and Tourism or the relevant local authority.
  • Apply for a homestay license, providing details about your homestay accommodation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Pay the required application and license fees.
  • Once your application is approved, the authorities will issue the homestay license.

ENERGY SECTOR

Solar Photovoltaic Manufacturer License

  • Contact the Benue State Ministry of Energy or the relevant state authority responsible for energy regulation.
  • Prepare an application for a solar photovoltaic manufacturing license.
  • Submit the application to the state authority and provide all necessary documentation.
  • Pay the required application and license fees.
  • The state authority will review your application and issue the manufacturing license if approved.

Petroleum Storage License (except LPG) and Petroleum Transport License (except LPG)

  • Contact the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) for petroleum-related licenses.
  • Prepare an application for the specific license you need.
  • Submit the application to DPR along with all required documentation.
  • Pay the applicable fees.
  • DPR will review your application and issue the license if it meets the necessary criteria.
